Welcome to the 2021 issue of Raas Purnima

by Sri Sandip Dasgupta

Welcome to the Raas Purnima edition of our electronic magazine. In this editorial, I will attempt to capture the message of ‘Living God’ as conveyed to us by our Master.

According to Sri Sri Babathakur’s Science of Oneness, the Divine resides within each and every one of us – hence we are all Living Gods! He has asked us to begin by paying utmost respect to our parents – because they are the Divine agents who have brought us to this world and provided us with the foundational education, before handing us over to a school/college. They however continue to guide us throughout our lives. Our parents are our first Living Gods.

Remembering that the Divine resides in each and every one if us, that each of us are living Gods, will automatically help us embrace the message of inclusion that is being preached throughout the world. Sri Sri Babathakur has urged us to help the needy by considering that we are getting a chance to serve the Divine/Living Gods.

The Master has not discounted the need for conventional Gods or deities. He has emphasized that there is a need for worshiping our deities so that we can bring order and discipline into our lives. It allows us to practice praying to the Almighty – and that prayer will be heard by the Divine/Living God residing amongst us.

Can we begin respecting each and every one around us by trying to realize the Divine in each one of them (and within us)? The best formula to achieve this has been given by our Master when he asked us to:

  • Not see fault in others, but only see our own faults
  • Appreciate the qualities of others and not boast about our own qualities

Joy Babathakur! Joy Babathakur! Joy Babathakur!
